It's Not Easy Being Green - Tobacco Hornworms are the larva of a huge moth called Carolina sphinx moths. Approximate size of the moth is around the size of a hummingbird so you can’t miss them.
Very pretty worms, except when they're hiding on your tomato plants munching away!
Beautiful, especially against the reds on the rock.

Wow what a find! I used to see these all of the time when I was a kid. Never had a clue as to the name of the caterpillar! Never even thought it became a moth!! Glad you shared!!
